Kovosil ® FeSi 15%
Characteristics
Kovosil® FeSi 15% is produced by atomizing a liquid pre-casting with air into water. The resulting powder has a uniform spherical shape, which ensures optimal corrosion resistance and service life.
Applications
Kovosil® FeSi 15% is used to separate mineral ores that differ in their physical properties; for example, in magnesite mining, it is used to separate the ore from the waste rock. It is also used to produce heavy suspensions, which are used to separate aluminum alloys from Cu-, Zn-, and Pb-based alloys in separation equipment (Schröder machines).
